Privacy Policy for Logic Automotive Solutions

Last updated: October 09, 2026

Logic Automotive Solutions Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website https://logicauto.co.uk (the “Website”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Website, contact us, or book services.

Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use our Website or provide us with your personal information.

1. Contact Details of the Data Controller

Logic Automotive Solutions Ltd
Unit 4, Acres Hill Lane/Parkway Drive, Sheffield, S9 4YT, United Kingdom
Email: contact@logicauto.co.uk

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us using the details above.

You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns before you approach the ICO.

2. What Personal Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

Information you provide directly:

Name, email address, phone number, vehicle details (e.g., registration, make, model), and any messages or enquiries submitted via our contact form, booking system, or email.

Automatically collected information:

Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing behaviour on our Website (e.g., pages visited, time spent).
This is collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7 for more details).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health, racial or ethnic origin) unless relevant to a specific service request (e.g., accessibility needs for vehicle collection).

3. How We Collect Your Information

  • Directly from you when you fill in our contact form, book an appointment, or communicate with us.
  • Automatically as you navigate the Website (via cookies or server logs).
  • From third-party booking platforms if you use them to schedule services.

4. How We Use Your Personal Information

Purpose

To respond to enquiries and provide information about our services

To schedule and manage bookings, servicing, MOTs, diagnostics, and repairs

To send service reminders or follow-up communications

To improve our Website and services (e.g., analytics)

To comply with legal obligations (e.g., record-keeping for vehicle repairs)

Lawful Basis

Legitimate interests (running our business and communicating with potential customers)

Performance of a contract (or steps prior to entering a contract)

Legitimate interests (providing good customer service)

Consent, for analytics cookies (see Section 7); otherwise legitimate interests (business improvement)

Legal obligation

We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another compatible reason.

5. Sharing Your Personal Information

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers (e.g., booking software providers, IT support) who act as processors on our behalf and are contractually obliged to protect your data.
  • Regulatory bodies if required by law (e.g., for MOT records).
  • In the event of a business sale or reorganisation, to the new owners.

The service providers our Website uses are:

  • Vercel, which hosts the Website.
  • Dalton Digital, our web agency. Booking requests you send through the Website are passed to Dalton Digital’s Pulse system, which forwards them to us on our behalf.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile), which checks that a booking request is sent by a person rather than an automated program.
  • Google: our reviews are fetched from Google by our server, so your browser does not contact Google to show them. The map on our home page only loads from Google Maps if you choose “Show map”, and Google Analytics only runs if you accept analytics cookies (Section 7).
  • The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA): when you use our free MOT check, the registration number you enter is sent to the DVSA’s MOT history service to look up the vehicle’s MOT history. No other details are sent.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. International Transfers

Some of the service providers named in Section 5 may process data outside the UK. Where any transfers outside the UK occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our Website does not need any cookies to work. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics only runs if you choose “Accept”; if you choose “Decline”, or make no choice, it sets nothing. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again, and you can change it at any time below.

You can also manage cookies via your browser settings.

8. Data Security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. This includes secure servers and limited access to data.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary.

10. Your Rights

  • Access: Request a copy of your data.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion (where applicable).
  • Restriction: Limit processing in certain cases.
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured format.
  • Withdraw consent: If processing is based on consent (though we rarely rely on this).
  • Automated decisions: Not subject to solely automated decision-making.

To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@logicauto.co.uk. We will respond within one month (extendable in complex cases).

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our Website with the updated date. Significant changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on the site.

12. Links to Other Websites

Our Website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.

Thank you for trusting Logic Automotive Solutions Ltd with your information.
